F.A.Q
I am new to yoga, and I am not sure how much I can do, where is the best place to start?
Well, you already took the first step by coming here. That says a lot! I encourage you to just show up and watch from a comfy chair or bed. In this practice, less is more. Begin by visualizing the movement and then, if appropriate for your body, engage in movements using half your capacity. Go slow in order to safely establish your baseline, and only then is it advised to increase duration or load. Please be sure to discuss this with your medical practitioner prior to begining a class.
Do I need to register for an online live class ahead of time?
Yes. Registration closes 5 minutes prior to each class, so you must purchase your class prior to start time. It is advisable to purchase classes in advance and mark them on your calendar.
Please give yourself plenty of time to log on. I recommend joining 10 minutes prior to each class in case of any technical issues and to allow yourself time to get set up and settled before starting class. You also can log on earlier and will be placed in a 'waiting room'. We aim to start class right on time.
I am new to Zoom, what do I need to join an online class?

No one knows your body better than you! You are encouraged to modify movements as needed and rest when necessary. All movements can be be done from a seated or supine (lying down) position. There should never be force, strain or pushing through. It's about meeting your full self where it's at, and responding with compassion. I am just your guide, so please remember to check in with your body regularily. Always check with your health practioner before starting

Please keep your web camera on during the online class as this provides me the opportunity to monitor your movements and teach accordingly. This also encourages a safe and more connected community.
